Now, in this new Age of Aquarius, we are approaching the full manifestation and integration of the Aquarian energies that will guide and invigorate us for the next two thousand years. As the last bastions of ‘power wrought people’ and government institutions of the Piscean age (the last two thousand year cycle) crumble and give way, somewhat reluctantly however to the Aquarian feminine energies of LOVE, music will become a golden key for many people with their heart centers (heart chakra) open to help them raise their vibration, spiritual awareness and become aware of their inherent spiritual faculties. 

 

At this period of our evolution, we are discovering and realizing how music and vibration can bring oneself into closer contact with ones higher self, soul and spirit as well as allowing us to become intimate and attuned to the Devas or spirit guides that exist all around us. In this new Age, through music, we will be invoking the benefits and guidance of these Devas as well as stimulating our psychic faculties by which means we will be aware and responsive to them. This music will be used to heal the body, mind and spirit, especially at concerts where the mass consciousness will magnify the attraction of these healing effects. The Ascended Masters say,

“Where two are gathered in our name the candle flame becomes a beacon of light thus quickening (raising) the vibration of yourself and the planet. If you could only observe how beautiful this is from our viewpoint”.

 

“What is the vibration and why should it be raised” I hear you ask! Well, if we approach it from an Esoteric point of view, then GOD, who ever that might be for you, God, Budda, Jah, Ra, Allah, Brahma, Atman, Yahweh, Ram, Baal, Ahura Mazda is the highest vibration. Need I say more. 

 

If however we regard this matter from the standpoint of Physics, we realise that even down to the very atom that matter is in constant movement or vibration. Even a rock puts out a vibration of density and strength that can be measured. Only at absolute zero (0 degrees Kelvin or 0o K)--does all motion stop and the atoms and molecules stop vibrating and spinning. We are a vibrating mass!

 

Every cell in our body has its own frequency vibration composed of atoms and molecules that resonate according to their own harmonies. Many cells group together to form tissues and organs that are part of our biological makeup, which then vibrate according to these newly formed harmonies. In quantum physics, all matter at the subatomic level is in a state of constant flux. Matter is energy pulsating at different rates of vibration or frequencies and it is this rate of vibration that distinguishes one form of matter from another. It has been proven that an atom is both a particle and a wave – matter and energy are intertwined and interchangeable. This understanding takes us to the origin of the universe. "In the beginning was the word and the word was…’ for sure a vibration.

 

The California scientist Susumu Ohno, wrote an article entitled Of words, Genes and Music. He assigned simple musical notes to the DNA bases adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine, which are arranged in sequences that are unique for each species. For example ‘do’ for base C, ‘re’ and ‘mi’ for base A, ‘fa’ and ‘sol’ for base G and ‘la’ and ‘ti’ for base T. The resulting musical transcriptions derived from this genetic code, when performed, were comparable to the music of Bach, Chopin and other great composers. Furthermore, there have been a number of experiments that demonstrate that plants can react physically to music. For instance it is known that plants will turn towards classical music especially violin and religious chants, and they can actually lean away or even die from loud rock music. Clearly there is some sort of resonance principle at work at the genetic or molecular level. This all suggests that vibration and frequency have a very direct effect on the way we feel, think and operate. 

 

It is accepted in esoteric circles that Spirit Matter exists on different higher levels (planes) of vibration i.e. our spirit guides, angels or the Ascended Masters are all around us but unseen to those of us whose vibration is lower than that of theirs. If this is hard to imagine then think of a TV or radio. We know that the signals feeding these devices are floating about in the air, but we don’t actually hear or see the signals until they meet up with the TV or radio that are receptive to these vibrating frequencies. So it is that the Spirit guides are also present but vibrating on a different level of vibration, a level that we can tap in to through raising our own vibration. One way we can achieve this is through music. Music is an art imbued with the power to penetrate into the very depth of the soul, imbuing us with the love of virtue- Plato.

 

As always in this book, I want to give you a more layman’s approach to the terminology and ideas that I bring forth. I know how quickly one can get confused or overwhelmed by the use of the more, lets say, esoteric terminology. I believe that it is important to bring these ideas to you in a straightforward way rather than being shrouded in what to some people would seem nonsensical blurb! However, as Einstein said “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.”
